In today's episode of You're Not the Boss of Me we are chatting about why sales still matter.  Nowadays you hear all the gurus saying - just post on social media, put your products in your stories, and the customers will come.  And the thing is - maybe they will... and maybe they won't.  Maybe they are afraid to ask without having an invitation.

 

Before the internet, people used to have to hustle to make sales.  Anyone remember encyclopedias?  Think about how hard they worked to get a sale.  Now (those of you that are old enough) think about how many people had encyclopedias in their house.   My guess is quite a few.  The invitation, the presentation, and the sale are some things that seem to get lost in the showiness of social media.  Listen in as I go into detail about how important these things still are.
